Whats in Store for Katy and Russell?

Have you ever wondered why some people tend to be more in the limelight than others?Do you ever wonder about celebrity connections and breakups? I started thinking about this and decided to take a look at some of the top performers in the limelight currently. While doing some research I ran across Katy Perry. In the Alexa Rankings her pages put her in the top 10 of views. Apparently her divorce from Russell Brand is a hot topic at the moment.

While Katy Perry is a performer in her own right, she caused a splash by getting married on October 23, 2010 (just prior to her birthday) to Russell Brand who is NOW filing for divorce. As an Intuitive Personality and Relationship Consultant, I often assist couples who are looking for greater insight into their personal connections. Is there an explanation for the split in the cards, numbers and symbology of their charts??? Definately! Lets take a look.

Ten of Hearts: The Social Success Card

Katy is expressing the ambition that is the mark of this card. Also, tens are natural teachers and she is obviously teaching much to the general populace. They are creative and usually artistic which she obviously is. As a natural leaders, she does not follow the beaten path. They love children and groups of people that they may regard as their children …can we say adoring fans. They are innovators and can make a great contribution in their chosen field as long as they exercise clarity in their judgment. Their motives can either be humanitarian or selfish, and this usually has a lot to do with their ultimate destination. They are independent and often impulsive but this is usually kept in balance by their wisdom. They can make a unique mark on the world through the application of their inherent gifts. They are usually gentle and wise people – at least the wisdom is there. Their wisdom is their protector and guiding light. Hearts are the children of the deck and have a youthful countenance and attitude that they carry throughout their life.

There is always an inherent blessing in any of the “tens” as well and she is blessed with beauty and ambition. The challenge is to keep gratitude in mind when working with all the blessings and not take them for granted.

King of Diamonds: The Business Owner

Here we have a King of Diamonds individual. As such, his card predisposes him to be a master of values and almost guarantees success in any business pursuit. He simply applies his inherited knowledge to his business . He needs to be the king of his own business or relationship. They can be very mercenary when it comes to money and business, but they don’t have to be. This is the only “one-eyed” King in the deck which means that they tend to see everything from their own point of view exclusive of others. This can make them very stubborn and one-sided in their view points. He would also tend to only let his spouse see 1 side.

However, all of them know what is of real value and if they follow their knowing instead of their fears, they can be the most respectable people in the business world. They must always guard against using their power to get things to go their way. They have good marriage karma in general and usually marry someone who is intelligent and able to contribute to their goals. They are very creative and can make huge amounts of money by using this gift. The King of Diamonds are powerful people who can do much good in the world and can be examples of those who are “in the world but not of it”.

So we have 2 very strong individuals. One’s who would not easily relinquish the leadership position. There was probably great chemistry in the beginning as both cards are quite charming and charamatic. Checking into their ”cards, symbols and signs” prior to marriage would have given these two something to consider going into their relationship. As we dig deeper into their charts we find some glaring issues that could have been addressed or discussed prior to marriage or worked on during their short time together.

Katy chose a pretty headstrong partner in Russell. Elementally (earth, air, water, fire) they were were challenged from the beginning. Katy’s sun sign of Scorpio is a water sign. Russell’s sun is Gemini, air. These 2 elements are a cross purposes to each other.

In the ancient oracle we call the playing cards, Katy is water (hearts) while Russell is earth (diamonds). These 2 DO flow together and soften, the challenge presented by their sun signs alone. You can see more of her softness and playfulness in the picture above while he holds an “edge” in his countenance.

Within herself Katy is Water in both systems while Russell is Air and Earth. Katy flows within herself, however Russell is more conflicted as Air and Earth challenge each other as do Air and Water (Katy) which can predispose intividuals to fighting. A Geminii sun sign (Russell) travels in the mental realms while Scorpio (Katy) is much more emotional (water). Add that to the intensity of her Scorpio sun sign it is no wonder there were reported “outbursts and flares”. When heated air crosses crosses heated water the result is hurricanes or tornados with a little scorpio stinger in there to boot.

In the card system their first 3 connections were Pluto, Venus, Mars. A Pluto connection is a very powerful connection that would have affected Russell the most. Katy was “Pluto” to Russell and just being herself would have challenged and inspired change in Russell IF he could accept that challenge. She could have been a powerful transformational influence in his life. (Which is now in play). There is often also an almost magnetic attraction in the beginning of a relationship and a desire on Russells part (conscious or unconscious) to be more like Katy. Which is why, if the reports are true that he was always “picking at her”, would show that he was just externalizing “onto her” his own desire to change and better himself. Because he had attracted such a transformation person into his life it is not surprising if Russell resisted the changes inspired by Kathy. Her natural Scorpio sun energy coupled with the transformational Plutonian energy (which is the ruling planet of Scorpio) would produce a double whammy for Russell for arguments and fights which has now manifested.

Russell, (the one receiving the Pluto energy) would have the tendency to blame the Katy for the feelings stirred up. He might even be feeling that his very existence was being threatened. Goes with the territory of a Pluto first connection. In business, this connection is often too much and while Russell had the potential (as a King) to “handle the heat” he obviously didn’t.

The 2nd connection mutual Venus (energy flows both ways) would have given them a lot in common and ease of being together from the start and it also enhances a couples ability to make more money as a partnership than either of them alone.

And that brings us to the 3rd connection…MARS! Mars is the God of War and with this couple the Mars energy which can be great in the bedroom, out of it can easily turn into competition, anger, blame, resentment and sometimes abuse if there is no positive outlet for this firecracker dynamite. Katy is Mars to Russell so he would be the one most affected. He would be the first to to get angry or misconstrue actions and words. They could have channelled the energy and put it to work in a positive way which may have been what they did initially however, now has taken a nose-dive.

What is really interesting to me as an Intuitive Personality Profilist is that this is the same information I would have shared with them at the beginning of their relationship. I find it totally fascinating how accurate this system always tends to be.

So whats next for Russel Brand and Katy Perry after the divorce?

For Katy the split may just prove transformational! Her long range cards in effect until her birthday this year are the Ace of Spades and The Ace of Spades is the most powerful card in the deck for rebirth and change. She may find herself taking a different direction in her current profession or perhaps change directions completely. She also may find herself with her “ideal” partner or her “perfect lover”. On a deeper level she may be doing inner re-evaluation and cleaning up debris of the past to clear her path to future happiness. She has tremendous emotional power at her disposal both for her work and personal life. She has entered her “Saturn return” time which heralds a whole new cycle of growth and learning. Its not surprising that divorce came into play as this is a typical “Saturn Return” experience. The key is to cooperate and use this time effectively for deeper introspection and examination. She may also re-connect with her spiritual roots opening up the channels of joy in a whole different way. She could also find a child in her picture by October. By her birthday 2012 she should find herself in a much more productive, stable and harmonious condition.

Russell finds himself under the 6 of Spades and the 10 of Hearts. It would behoove Russell to heed the “fateful” energy of this card and listen to what the Universe is telling him. With this card present indicating a major turning point in his life that could lead to his true destiny coupled with the 10 of hearts thar guarantees success for performers he could find himself emerging from this divorce with more clarity, popularity, exposure and recognition. His greatest challenge will be his health. He will want to be taking special care of not only his physical body but his mental, emotional and spiritual bodies as well! This could be a rocky emotional road until after his birthday in 2013 when his emotions take a more stable turn. Financially the both of them should come out all right!
